I started following his posts and browsing the blog, which is dedicated to serving worship leaders, musicians, and technical volunteers in small churches.
Our online interaction led to a couple video calls, and he invited me to write a guest post for the Collaborate Worship blog to cover some of the most important things that church sound techs need to know in order to deliver great sound at church...
Here’s a link to the Top 3 Things All Church Techs Should Know.
Also… Kade recently came out with a brand new training course to teach the basics of running the Behringer X32 digital mixing console.
I went through Kade’s course and learned quite a lot.
If you’ve got one of these consoles or need to get your sound team up to speed on some tips and tricks, then I encourage you to check out his video training course specifically for the X32.
(The other cool thing about Kade is that he doesn’t spend a lot of time droning on about techie minutia, so you can learn the things that you actually want to know very fast!)

Here's a note from Kade about his new training resource.
To tell you the truth, now that we've upgraded, I wish we would have done it sooner. The features and flexibility on the X32 are mind-blowing, but I did run in to one problem...a lack of good training resources.
You see, the first thing I did was go to YouTube. Although I found some great videos, I found myself frustrated with how long they were. I just wanted them to cut the crap and teach me what I needed to know.
Then, I hit up Google and became even more frustrated trying to find answers to my questions. So, I went on a mission to learn the X32 forwards and backwards so I could create a video course for those who have the same frustrations.
Behringer X32 Crash Course
In the Behringer X32 Crash Course, you will learn everything you need to know to effectively use the Behringer X32 at your church, including basic audio concepts like how to use EQ and compression.
So, if you just purchased the X32, this course is for you. If you've had the X32 for awhile, this course is for you too, as I am sure you will need to train new volunteers in the future.
Instead of wasting time on YouTube and ending up frustrated, get the X32 course today. You'll be glad you did.
